I will be in Barcelona in the morning!! I am SO incredibly excited. I can't believe we are finally here, can't believe my adventure is finally actually starting! Today is my last day of classes until after Italy... isn't that crazy? And even then we only have one or two classes in a row until we are on our way home. Once tomorrow comes, everything is going to go by so fast because we only have one or two days on the ship between every port. This is seriously insane. I just can not believe that we are actually here! I have some other good news. Today was taco day at lunch. I was so excited. I have been so sick of eating the same food everyday for every meal so getting to have tacos was awesome. And not only that, but come tomorrow I will be eating every meal in Barcelona and after that in Italy, and after that in Croatia, and after that in Greece, and after that in Bulgaria, and after that in Turkey, and after that in Morocco. No more ship food for a while (besides the one or two days between every port)!
I have decided that while I am in every country I am going to completely indulge in the culture of where I am. So tomorrow I am going to Montserrat during the day and then after that I am going to take a siesta, and rest up for a very late dinner and a fun night. That is the way of the Spanish, you know. I am very excited.
Annnndddd... We just booked our train reservations for our Incredible Italy Adventure. My new friends (Jenny, Andrea, Liz, Juli, and Jenny's brother and cousin who live in Italy) and I are going from Naples to Cinque Terre, to Venice, and then to Civitavecchia. I can not even begin to tell you how excited I am for this!! I will be spending the next four days in Barcelona and will be in Naples on Saturday!!
Well I'm off to bed so I can get up early and enjoy the beautiful Barcelona sunshine. I will hopefully be able to blog tomorrow and tell you all about my first day in Barcelona and Montserrat, but I also may be up quite late so I am not going to make any promises.
Did I mention I am EXCITED?! Muy muy emocionada! (Is this right, Kayla? I have been trying to practice my espanol)
